Day-1: Arrive at Kolkata
Receive assistance at Kolkata Airport and Transport to Hotel. In the afternoon, visit to Victoria Memorial and Local Market. Stay overnight in hotel.
Day-2: Kolkata
Tour the city for full day with a local guide. Visit colonial architecture, Botanical Garden, Mother Teresa’s home and shrine, museum. Stay overnight in hotel.
Day-3: Kolkata – Bhadrak- Bhitarkanika
After breakfast, catch the train to Bhadrak, then drive and take the boat cruise to Dangmal. On the way enjoy watching the mangrove forest with estuarine crocodiles, deer and avian species. Check into Forest cottage and stay overnight.
Day-4: Bhitarkanika
After breakfast, take the boat cruise in creeks to explore more species of birds and reptiles. Also trek inside the mangrove forest and from the watch tower see more species in their natural habitat. Enjoy the evening bonfire and stay overnight.
Day-5: Bhitarkanika- Dhenkanal
After breakfast, cruise back and drive Dhenkanal en route visiting Buddhist ruins, ancient Stupas-Chaityas, archaeological excavation sites at Ratnagiri & Udayagiri. Stay overnight in hotel at Dhenkanal.
Day-6: Dhenkanal – Bhubaneswar
After breakfast, drive to the Karmul handicraft village, Joranda temple and Sadhus. Then, drive to Bhubaneswar. Stay overnight in Hotel.
Day-7: Bhubaneswar – Konark – Puri
Visit of Parasurameswar Temple (7th Century AD.), Mukteswar Temple (10th Century AD.), Rajarani Temple (11th Century AD.) and Lingaraj Temple (11th Century AD). Drive to Puri en route visiting Pipli and Konark. Stay overnight in Hotel.
Day-8: Puri
After breakfast, visit the Raghurajpur artisan village, Puri Temple, Market and Beach. Stay overnight in Hotel.
Day-9: Puri – Chilka – Gopalpur
After breakfast, drive to Gopalpur en route visiting Chilka Lake to see the migratory birds. Stay overnight in hotel at Gopalpur.
Day-10: Gopalpur – Rayagada
Drive to Rayagada through Eastern ghats, enjoy the beauty of landscape and visit some villages of Kumuti, Saora and Kondh. Stay overnight in Hotel at Rayagada.
Day-11: Rayagada
Drive to Dukum market and visit some Desia Kondh villages. Stay overnight in Rayagada. (Must be on Tuesday)
Day-12: Rayagada – Chatikona – Jeypore
In the morning, drive to Chatikona Market to see Dongria Kondh tribe, different from others with their distinct hair dresses and jewelry. After lunch, drive to Jeypore, en route visiting Mali and Desia Kondh tribal villages. Stay overnight at Jeypore. (Must be on Wednesday)
Day-13: Jeypore – Onkudeli – Vizag
After breakfast drive to Onukudeli Market to see one of the most primitive tribe of the world, The Bondas & Gadabas. Stay overnight in Hotel. (Must be on Thursday)
Day-14: Jeypore – Kunduli – Vizag
After breakfast, transfer from hotel to Vizag en route visiting Kunduli Tribal market. Stay overnight at Hotel in Vizag. (Must be on Friday)
Day-15: Departure from Vizag
After breakfast, transfer to airport for onward journey back home or any other choice of destination.
