DURATION : 16 NIGHTS / 17 DAYS

Day-01: Monday: Arrive in Vizag and drive to Rayagada.

On arrival, you will meet and greeted by the local guide. You will be escorted to Rayagada. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day-02: Tuesday: Rayagada – Majhiguda

After breakfast, drive to Majhiguda en route visit Desia Kondh villages and weekly tribal market at Majhiguda. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day-03: Wednesday: Rayagagada – Chhatikona – Jeypore (Weekly market)

Early morning, drive to Chhatikona, the weekly colourful Dongaria Kondh market. Return to hotel for lunch and then drive to Jeypore enroute visiting an artist village making wooden basket work. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day-04: Thursday: Jeypore – Onkudelli – Jeypore (weekly market)

Early morning, drive to Onkudelli the most interesting market of Bondas/Gadabas/Didayees. Later, visit the Gadaba tribal villages. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day-05: Friday: Jeypore – Kunduli (Weekly market) – Jagdalpur

After breakfast, drive to Kunduli where the guests can witness the largest tribal market by Paroja people. After Lunch, drive to Jagdalpur en route visits the Kotpad weaving villages and Bhatra tribal market at Nagarnar. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day-06: Saturday: Jagdalpur – Kondagaon – Kanker

After breakfast, drive to Kanker. Visit the Nayennar Village to see the Bison Horn dance of Maria tribes. Later, visit Kondagaon to see the lost wax technique of brass idol making. Stay overnight in the Kanker Palace.

Day-07: Sunday: Around Kanker

Post breakfast, proceed to visit Murria tribal villages and witness the GUTUL system of young boys & girls. Also, watch their GUTUL dance (need to organize). Stay overnight at the Kanker Palace.

Day-08: Monday: Kanker – Rajim – Champaran – Raipur

After breakfast, drive to visit the Rajim Temple situated on the Mahanadi River. In the afternoon, visit the local tribal villages and Champaran. Then drive to Raipur. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day-09: Tuseday: Raipur – Siripur – Barnawapara

After breakfast, proceed to visit Brick temple and the Buddhist ruins on Baselt stone at Siripur. Then, drive to Barnawapara wildlife Sanctuary. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day-10: Wednesday: In and around Barnawapara.

After Breakfast, visit the forest full of Terminalia, Sal, Teak and Bamboo trees. One can get a chance to see Flying Squirrels, Tigers, Jungle Cat, Sloth Bear, Jackals, Four-horned Antelopes, Chinkara, Leopards, Black Buck, and Barking Deer etc. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day-11: Thursday: Barnawapara – Baragad – Sambalpur

After breakfast, proceed to Bargada to visit the villages working on tie and die (Ikat) method on Silk. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day-12: Friday: Sambalpur – Keonjhar

After breakfast, drive to the Juang Tribal villages. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day-13: Saturday: Keonjhar – Khiching – Keonjhar

After breakfast, visit Khiching and then full day visit the villages of Mankedia (Birhore) and Santal tribes. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day-14: Sunday: Keonjhar – Joranda – Dhenkanal

After breakfast, drive to the Karmul handicraft village, Joranda temple and Sadhus. Drive to Dhenkanal en route visiting Buddhist ruins, ancient Stupas-Chaityas, archaeological excavation sites at Ratnagiri & Udayagiri. Stay overnight in hotel at Dhenkanal.

Day-15: Monday: Dhenkanal – Bhubaneswar

After breakfast, drive to Bhubaneswar, check in into Hotel. In the afternoon, visit the temples. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day-16: Tuesday: Bhubaneswar- Konark – Puri- Bhubaneswar.

After breakfast, drive to Puri en route visiting the Sun Temple at Konark. Have lunch on the beach. Later walk to visit the fishermen village. Then drive to Puri along the coast. Visit the Jagannath Temple in Puri. Return to Bhubaneswar. Stay overnight.
