One of the lesser-known wonders of Odisha, Satkosia Gorge Sanctuary is an absolute delight for nature lovers. Founded in 1976, the sanctuary received the status of a tiger reserve in 2007 and is home to two of the most endangered species of crocodiles—the Mugger and Gharial. Apart from that, the reserve is home to animals like elephants, leopards, fishing eagles, hornbills, racket-tailed drongo, malabar giant squirrels, rare flying squirrels, wild dogs, striped hyenas, sloth bear, barking deer, chital and elephant. Admire these rare species as you also go about capturing the beauty of nature in your camera lenses.
This beautiful landscape is now having beautiful camps at the Satkosia River bed, on the banks of the Mahanadi Gorge, a site so idyllic, you will feel like you walked into a postcard!

DAY 01
Welcome & Check–in, Lunch at restaurant, Guided Forest Trail till sunset view point inside Tikarapara Wildlife Sanctuary, Hi tea & Leisure time at Campsite, Evening cultural Programme by the Campsite, Dinner at restaurant, Eco Retreat theatre (open air film screening) & Star gazing.
Exclusions:
Individual transfer is available on request (chargeable), Allotment of tent to guests arriving before check-in time will be subject to prior booking.
DAY 02
Morning Tea, Yoga & Meditation in the Forest & Jumba, Breakfast at restaurant, Guided Tour: Visit to Deojhar Waterfall followed by Champeswar Temple and back to Eco Retreat, Lunch at Restaurant, Leisure time at Campsite, Dinner at restaurant, Eco Retreat theatre (open air film screening), Star Gazing.
DAY 03
Morning Tea, Yoga, Meditation & Jumba, Breakfast at restaurant, Boating in Mahanadi, Check-out from Eco Retreat.
Payment Terms :
- Advance 50% payment to book your seat
- 100% balance payment at least 30 days before the commencement of tour
- Refund policy in case of cancellation:
- 80% of total cost if cancelled 60 days or more before the commencement of tour
- 50% of total cost if cancelled 30 days to 59 days before the commencement of tour
- 20% of total cost if cancelled 16 days to 29 days before the commencement of tour
- No refund if cancelled 15 days or lesser before the commencement of tour
Please note:
Date of cancellation will be the date of written (email) communication of intent to cancel, received by us. Refund amount will be calculated excluding the date of commencement of tour.

- By agreeing to participate in any of our tours, the participant confirms to understand and voluntarily agree to all the terms and conditions, including the below mentioned:
- Fitness to complete the Tour is the sole criterion for participation.
- Participants are advised to consult their physician in case they have any kind of medical history of hypertension, cardiac issues or any other ailments.
- Tour mentor's decisions during the tour are final and binding.
