Day 01: Arrival in Kolkata

After arrival in Kolkata, get transported to the Hotel. PM: To observe the archetypal Bengal pottery, move towards Kumartooli, Marble Palace, Kolkata University, House of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore (Jorasanko), Jain Temple and Collage Street. Spend overnight there in Kolkata.

Day 02: In Kolkata

Take the visit to Fulia for Weaver’s Village of Shantipur and also renowned for Cotton Weaving in Bengal. Then, head towards Krishnanagar, which is famous for scroll painting and clay doll works in Ghoorni. PM: Take the Half day to visit ISKCON Temple of Mayapur. Spend overnight in Kolkata.

Day 03: Kolkata - Vishnupur

Move towards the town of Vishnupur en route visiting the Kamarpukur and Jayrambati. In Vishnupur, you will observe the temples which are filled with old structures, Centre of Baluchori Silk weaving, Work center of Conch shells, Card making Center of Dasavatar and so on. You will have lunch in the Tourist lodge of Vishnupur. Further, head towards Panchmura Village to take a visit of the work center of Terracotta works and at the dusk, rejoice with Live Hindustani Classical Music of Vishnupur Gharana. Spend overnight there.

The town of Vishnupur is an old capital belonging to the Kings of Malla and also famous for the Temples of Terracotta which include archetypal style of village hut displaying Bengal architecture of Temples. Varieties of important temples are Rashmancha, Jor-Bangla and Shyamrai which contain abundant terracotta panels in wonderful form.

Day 04: Visnhupur - Shantiniketan

You will enjoy the visit of Shantiniketan via Joydev and Kenduli. In Shantiniketan, tour the University of Vishwa Bharati, Museum and Kala Bhavan. Then, take a visit of Tribal village called Shantal and enjoy their performances of music and dance. Further, enjoy the Baul songs and dances in the village of Baul. Have dinner in the hotel and taste the authentic Bengali foods. Spend overnight in Shantiniketan.

The place of Shantiniketan also described as ‘The abode of Peace’ which is an open air school harmonious with the nature. It was founded by the Shri Debendra Nath Tagor, Father of Noble Laureate Poet Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore. Later, Gurudev improved it the University of Vishwa Bharati. Then visit the Rabindra Bhawan which was built to commemorate Gurudev in the form of a museum featuring the Memoribilia of him. Visit Uttarayan which is a five house complex representing different style of architecture and then, Sriniketan, a center of rural development.

Day 05: Shantiniketan - Kolkata

Check out from the Hotel and move towards Kolkata. En route visit some Boutique and Handicraft Centers. PM: Enjoy the Boat ride on the Ganges. Spend overnight at the city hotel.

Day 06: Kolkata Departure

Transport to the Airport or Railway station for onward journey.

• 100% balance payment at least 30 days before the commencement of tour
• Refund policy in case of cancellation:
• 80% of total cost if cancelled 60 days or more before the commencement of tour
• 50% of total cost if cancelled 30 days to 59 days before the commencement of tour
• 20% of total cost if cancelled 16 days to 29 days before the commencement of tour
• No refund if cancelled 15 days or lesser before the commencement of tour

Date of cancellation will be the date of written (email) communication of intent to cancel, received by us. Refund amount will be calculated excluding the date of commencement of tour.
