TRIBAL TOUR OF ODISHA & CHHATTISGARH

DURATION : 14 NIGHTS / 15 DAYS

Day-01: Bhubaneswar

Assistance at Bhubaneswar Airport and Transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit of Parasurameswar Temple (7th Century AD.), Mukteswar Temple  (10th Century AD.), Rajarani  Temple ( 11th Century AD.) and Lingaraj Temple.  

Day-02: Bhubaneswar – Bhitarakanka

After breakfast  drive to Bhitarkanika  en route visiting Buddhist  archeological excavation sites  at Ratnagiri & Lalitgiri.
   

Day-03: Bhitarkanika

After breakfast take the boat cruise in creeks to explore more species  of birds and reptiles. Also trek inside the mangrove forest and from the watch  tower see more species in their natural habitat. Evening bonfire & overnight.
   

Day-04: Bhitarakanika – Puri

After breakfast  drive to Puri en route visiting  Dhauli ,Chousathi  yogini temple & Pipili. Overnight.
  

Day-05: Puri-Konark-Puri

After breakfast  drive to  visit Sun Temple at Konark ,  later walk to visit fishermen village, then drive to Puri along the coast to visit Jagannath temple .Overnight  at Hotel in Puri.

Day-06: (Puri- Chilka- Gopalpur)

After breakfast  drive to  Gopalpur enrout visiting Raghurajpur  artisan village and Chilka lake, Overnight at hotel in Gopalpur.

Day-07: (Gopalpur – Rayagada)

Drive to Rayagada through Eastern ghats, enjoy the beauty of landscape and visit some villages of Kumuti, Saora & Kondh. Overnight at Hotel in Rayagada.
  
 

Day-08: (Rayagada- Chatikona- Jeypore)

Morning drive to Chatikona  Market  to see Dongria Kondh tribe, different from others with their distinct hair dresses & jewelery. After lunch drive to Jeypore  en rout visiting Mali and Desia Kondh tribal villages. Overnight  in Jeypore. ( Must be on Wednesday)
    

Day-09: Jeypore- Onkudeli.

After breakfast drive to  Onukudeli  Market  to see  one of the most primitive tribe of the world, The Bondas & Gadabas. Overnight at Hotel . ( Must be on Thursday).

Day-10: Jeypore-Kunduli- Jagadalpur

After breakfast  transfer from hotel to  Gagdalpur en rout visiting Kunduli Tribal market, Kotpad weaving village and Dhurwa  tribal market . O/N Bastar Jungal resort. ( Must be on Friday).

Day 11: In  Jagdalpur

Morning visit to Bison-horn Maria tribe, famous for their  weaving, dance & hospitality. Afternoon visit to Kanger Valley national park & Waterfall. Overnight.

Day-12: Kanker

After breakfast drive for  Kanker on the way visiting  Kondagaon tribal craft  of Bell metal, Wrought iron and terracotta. Afternoon visit to Muria tribal villages, See the Ghotul system in their village and enjoy  their wonderful food with  local Trudy . Afternoon visit their market. Overnight  at Kanker Palace.

Day-13: Kanker – Bhoramdeo

After breakfast drive to Bhoromdeo on the  way visiting Rajim,O/N Bhoromdeo  Jungle retreat.

Day-14: Bhoramdeo

Full day visit to Gond & Baiga tribal villages with picnic lunch.afternoon visit to Bhoramdeo temple. Overnight  at Jungle retreat.

Day-15:

After breakfast transfer to Raipur Airport  for onward journey
