Itinerary Details :

Places Covered: Bhubaneswar- Balesware (Chandipur) - Similipal - Bhitarkanika – Dhenkanal – Joranda – Nuapatna - Konark – Puri – Chilika – Raghurajpur – Gopalpur-Taptapani – Bhubaneswar

DAY 01: Arrive Bhubaneswar – Baleswar (180 Kms, 04 Hrs drive on NH-5)

Bhubaneswar – Baleswar (180 Kms, 04 Hrs drive on NH-5) Arrive in Bhubaneswar airport / rly station, assistance and transfer to Baleswar. Stay overnight in the hotel in Baleswar.

DAY 02: Baleswar - Similipal Park(80 Kms, and a 02 Hrs drive to entrypoint to Park.)

After breakfast drive to Similipal, After check in , Post lunch trek into nearby area and enjoy the mountain birds & nature. Overnight in Resort.

DAY 03: Similipal National Park (Drive 100 Kms,)

Take a safari inside National Park of Similipal ,It will begin with taking the Jungle of this National park and may get a view of the Big Cat within Jungle area. Following that, a tribal village visit within the park can be rejoicing and afterwards in the evening, get in the lodge for rest.

DAY 04: Similipal – Chandipur (140 Kms, 04 hrs)

Post breakfast, leave for Chandipur on the Sea. Check into the Beach hotel and later visit the fishing Jetty and enjoy the receding sea Stay overnight in Chandipur.

DAY 05: Chandipur - Dangamal (150 Kms, 04 Hrs drive)

Drive towards Dangamal through Bhadrak and reach the Dangamal, Afternoon have a trek inside the forest to see birds & deers. Stay overnight in Dangamal.

DAY 06: Dangamal - Bhitarkanika Sanctuary(Inside the park activities by boat and by trekking)

Post breakfast in the morning,enjoy the boat riding within the sanctuary to View the Estuarine crocodiles, verities of Kingfishers , and many more avian species. Later trek inside the island to view the birds & animals in their natural habitat. Return to resort for dinner and rest.

DAY 07: Bhitarkanika Sanctuary - Dhenkanal (140 Kms, 04 hrs drive)

Post breakfast, move towards Dhenkanal for a royal home stay in palace . There will be halts to view the Buddhist Monasteries of Udaigiri and Ratnagiri, flourished from 2nd century AD to 11th Century AD. Overnight in Palace.

DAY 08: Dhenkanal – Joranda – Dhenkanal (80 Kms both ways)

Post breakfast; visit the shrine where the Monks are residing in Joranda village. We will familiarize with them and also witness their offerings which are very interesting to look. Later visit craft village Karmul where the villagers are engaged to produce the Dokra jewelry for the other community. Have local lunch and visit the Munda tribal village. Return to the palace and stay overnight.

DAY 09: Dhenkanal – Nuapatna – Bhubaneswar (130 kms, 04 Hrs Drive)

Post breakfast, drive to Bhubaneswar en route visit the Silk Ikkat weaving village at Nuapatna and experience typical village life. Also, Stay overnight in Bhubaneswar.

DAY 10: In Bhubaneswar (80 kms in & around The Temple City)

Enjoy the half day sightseeing of Tribal Museum (closed on Monday),to see a glimpse of tribal life and culture as Odisha has 62 tribes later visit Khandagiri and Udayagiri caves, the twin hills honeycombed with architectural and sculptural splendour, these Jain caves belonging to 2nd century B.C. Overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.

DAY 11: In Bhubaneswar (100 kms in & around The Temple City)

Post breakfast in the morning, move towards the city of temple for viewing the hundreds of stunning temples which include the Lingaraj Mandir, Mukteswar Mandir with an outstanding stone arch also renowned as gem of the Odisha Architecture, Parsurameswar Temple having latticed windows along with delicate carvings, Rajarani Temple famous for its opulence in its architecture. All of these temples are various centuries old. Post lunch; visit the Nandankanan Zoo for an interesting White Tiger Safari having a Botanical Garden in the backdrop of lush forest along with an enticing lake. Take rest in Bhubaneswar overnight.

DAY 12: Bhubaneswar – Konark – Puri (140 kms, 03 Hrs Drive)

Early morning drive to Konark en route visit Pipili, the colorful appliqué work village, and visit the World Heritage magnificent Sun Temple at Konark. Then, proceed to Puri to for hotel check in. Later evening, visit to the world famous Temple of Lord Jagannath (Non-Hindus are not allowed, inside). Relax on the golden beach of Puri and relish the fresh air coming from the Bay of Bengal. Stay overnight in Puri.

DAY 13: Puri – Chilika – Puri (60 Kms, One way 1 Hour drive)

In the morning, drive towards Satpada to visit the Chilika Lake which is famous as Emerald of the East with grand briny lagoon of water spread over 1100 square kilometers area having a great flock of more than 180 bird species travelled from South East Asia, Siberia central and so on to stay here during the winters. The amazing and vast blue water stretch remains unexplored, while the Irrawaddy Dolphins are entertaining enough to attract more than thousands of people. Later in the evening, move to the Puri beach market and take rest overnight in Puri.

DAY 14: Puri – Raghurajpur – Chilika – Gopalpur(180 Kms, 05 Hrs Drive)

Post breakfast; drive Gopalpur en route visit Raghurajpur, the craft village famous for patta painting along with other artifacts in a rural scenic beauty showcasing the vibrant Gotipua Dance by small boys with female costumes interlay artisans at work on different handicraft like stone carving, wood carving and palm leaf engraving etc. Later drive to Gopalpur en route visit the Chlika Lake at Mangalajodi (where different species of migratory birds by ferry country boat you can enjoy the nature’s paradise. Proceed to Gopalpur and move to the hotel for check in. Stay overnight in Gopalpur.

DAY 15: Gopalpur (180 Kms, total 05 hrs drive)

After breakfast, proceed to visit Betnoi to explore the Black Buck where the villagers worship them. Later, visit to Taratarini temple (a legendary temple situated on a hillock) and Jaugada - Ashokan Rock Edicts. Stay overnight in Gopalpur.

DAY 16: Gopalpur – Bhubaneswar Departure (180 Kms, 04 hrs drive)

In the morning visit the Fishermen villages of Gopalpur and later drive back to Bhubaneswar airport to catch your evening flight for onward journey.

• Advance 50% payment to book your seat
• 100% balance payment at least 30 days before the commencement of tour
• Refund policy in case of cancellation:
• 80% of total cost if cancelled 60 days or more before the commencement of tour
• 50% of total cost if cancelled 30 days to 59 days before the commencement of tour
• 20% of total cost if cancelled 16 days to 29 days before the commencement of tour
• No refund if cancelled 15 days or lesser before the commencement of tour

Date of cancellation will be the date of written (email) communication of intent to cancel, received by us. Refund amount will be calculated excluding the date of commencement of tour.
